Annie Mist Thorisdottir. CrossFit professional athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She is also the owner of Crossfit Reykjavik and runs it also. Annie was the first female ever to win CrossFit Games on two occasions. She placed second in the 2010, and 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir - an Icelander weightlifter, CrossFit competitor and media star is one of the CrossFit athlete from Iceland. She was the first female to win the CrossFit Games in 2011, and 2012, twice. She is also known for being the winner of the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie was raised with her family at Reykjavik Iceland. As a kid, she's been a competitive athlete and fitness fanatic. The first time she participated was time in 2009, in the CrossFit Games held in California in which she performed extremely well. Annie Thorisdottir, at the time of her 2021 birthday, is 31 years old. She stands at 5' 7" tall, and weighs about 67 kg. Annie was the first to start CrossFit in California in 2009. She performed well in initial races and placed at the top of the list out of 70. However, she didn't win a championship and concluded the tournament in 11th place. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. under the direction of Jami Tikkanen, Annie placed 2nd at the CrossFit Games and was awarded the Silver Medal that year. After one year of CrossFit Games, Annie won her first CrossFit Games. Her dominant performances was enough to earn her the title. Annie was a winner, having outstanding 2012 CrossFit Games performance, became the very first woman to win each of the CrossFit Games. In 2014, she also took home a gold. And in 2021, she took home a bronze. Annie is currently a coach as well as a trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik, which she founded. In the last few years, as an athlete Annie is a model of a variety of sports brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Nuun Hydration-Periodization Sidekick, Yerbae, among others.
